The proposed Creek to Canal Creative District is in Downtown Trenton, bounded by the D&R Canal to the north and the Assunpink Creek to the south. Route 1 forms a natural boundary on the east, while the western boundary at Willow Street connects the District to some of the city's most historic assets and the government center.
The boundaries of the District were chosen to encompass the greatest concentration of artists, arts organizations,and creative activity in the city, and to capitalize on ongoing revitalization efforts in the Old Trenton Neighborhood and Downtown.
